In January, 1999, Warren was recruited to join the executive management team at the then publicly traded Fortune 100 retailer Toys “R” Us. He was pivotally involved in the development and execution of the retailer’s global flagship store in New York’s Times Square which until its closing in December 2015 was considered one of the top tourist attractions in Manhattan.

After leaving Toys “R” Us when the company was purchased by private equity firms in 2006, Warren joined the leadership team at Rooms To Go, America’s largest independent furniture retailer as Chief Strategic Officer where his responsibilities were multi-faceted as a direct report to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

After nine successful and gratifying years at Rooms To Go, Kornblum left in January, 2016 and founded Shadow Branding Group in order to work directly with brand marketers on brand and strategic development, growth, licensing, creative development and consumer connectivity.
