Tony Winders is a B2B marketing expert whose leadership and strategic insight have contributed to hundreds of successful campaigns over the past 20 years. As founder and CEO of The Winders Group, he leads a global team of marketers to develop strategy, create content and execute integrated campaigns for technology firms across a wide range of industries.
Prior to founding TWG, Winders served as senior vice president of marketing at GumGum, an applied computer vision company best for known for inventing the in-image advertising format. In 2002, he helped position Search123 for acquisition by ValueClick, Inc., where he served as vice president of marketing until 2010. An early entrant to digital marketing and advertising, he was co-founder of one of the world’s first interactive agencies, InterActive Agency, Inc. (aka iAgency), in 1995.
As co-host of the “Eavesdropping on Marketing” podcast, Winders invites marketers and business leaders to listen in on real-world conversations about marketing with colleague Joergen Aaboe. A longtime connector in the Los Angeles tech community, Winders co-hosts the LA AdTech meetup group and is the co-founder of Digital Family Reunion, an annual holiday celebration for the technology industry in LA. He is also an active mentor in the Preccelerator® Program of Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP.
Winders holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Central Missouri, where he serves on the professional advisory board of its PR program in the Harmon College of Business.
