Matt Weisbecker is a digital media executive with over 20 years of industry experience and a proven track record of growing online sales. As a Senior Vice President at Conversant, he leads a sales team focused on developing and implementing personalized digital media campaigns for advertiser clients in the media and entertainment business.
Prior to joining Conversant, Matt has held senior leadership positions at Amazon Media Group, NBC Universal and AOL. As the Director of Entertainment Sales and Strategy at Amazon, Matt developed and implemented entertainment strategies across Amazon and IMDb, executed the first rich media homepage video takeover at Amazon.com for “Dr. Suess’ The Lorax,” and the streaming of ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” for Amazon Instant Video.
As Vice President of Sales – Western Region at NBC Universal, Matt was responsible for working with various media divisions to integrate digital solutions across NBC, NBC Sports, NBC Olympics, Bravo, SyFy, USA and Oxygen, and also developed the strategies behind full episode players, including the launch of what would become Hulu. At AOL, he developed TV/Video strategies for AOL/Moviefone and AOL Instant Messenger, launching TV’s Top Five and the AIM Video Player.
Matt is a member of Think LA, Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association (LVIMA), Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA), and San Francisco Bay Area Innovation Group (sfBIG). He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara.
