Kathy Azeez is vice president, Global Information Management, UX/Design at American Express. She leads a team of designers who develop the user experience and design for products leveraging big data. Her team is also responsible for integrating design thinking into American Express’ Big Data platform and tools to ensure the power of data can be democratized across the enterprise.
Previously, Kathy worked eight years in various marketing and digital product roles across American Express OPEN, the company’s small business group and their consumer group. She led the design of many core digital products, including ReceiptMatch with Quickbooks, customers logged in digital journey as well as held leadership roles in digital marketing and customer engagement.
She is a senior user experience and marketing leader with extensive experience in driving growth and profitability across the .com journey. She prides her on taking an innovative and strategic approach to design, and has a deep understanding of leading internal design teams and building digital products.
Kathy graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. She resides in Long Island, NY with her husband and son.
