Alison Shaffer is currently a Global Data Privacy Officer at Philips, supporting the Connected Care & Health Informatics Business Unit. She is an accomplished Privacy Compliance, Data Management and Marketing Operations professional, with 20 years of experience leading teams to optimize the company’s abilities to effectively use data, while also managing risk and compliance.
Alison’s past positions include roles at: Intuit, Yahoo, WebEx, Cisco, Dell and TRUSTe. She was the 2010 winner of the Direct Marketing Education Foundation (DMEF) Rising Star Award. Alison holds a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, and is CIPP/US and CIPP/E certified from the IAPP.
